Kinetic Gets Green Light For Fund Management

Kinetic Partners, an international professional services firm for the asset management, banking and broking industry, has confirmed that its application to become a fund management company in Luxembourg has been approved by the Luxembourg Financial Authority. The licence will enable Kinetic Partners to host third-party UCITS funds, as well as alternative investment funds in the future. “The establishment of a MANCO in Luxembourg is an important part of our growth strategy going forward and has very much been on the agenda in the 12 months since we first moved into Luxembourg with the purchase of AB Fund Services in 2012,” said Kinetic chief executive Julian Korek. The application follows the introduction of the “Kinetic Passport” service, launched late last year. The service provides support in the registration, maintenance and overview of fund distribution services for UCITS fund promoters, and allows funds to be registered for distribution in more than 25 countries in Europe, Asia and South America.
